Just looked at some of their amps. Good pricing and I'm sure there pretty stout units. Thanks for the link CBRN38.

Can't go wrong with Davemade...Only Box's I haven't managed to blow up yet...And I have 6 of them, everything from a 2 pill, up to a 16 pill.

Agreed, can't go wrong with a Davemade, look around and you will see that a lot of amps follow his original build schematic. Great amps, just don't over drive or try to volt the amp, and it should last a very long time. You never mentioned whether or not this will be used strictly for AM or for both AM and SSB. Make sure if you Plan on using for ssb to order an amp with the ssb delay switch (relay). Good luck and seems that the guys here have you going in the correct direction. Now it's time to open the wallet and figure out how much you want to spend. Don't forget to use good coax for the install as well as good jumper coax. I like to use lmr400uf for my coax jumpers, not sure if this is a base or mobile install, but IMO, I would not skimp out on cheap coax. Get some good coax and a good antenna system as well, if you haven't already. You will only talk as good as your antenna system will let you. Good luck and god bless.
