I am a CB redneck that loves working on and talking on radios. Been in radios for 25 years. I have found a interest in talking sideband for the last 2 years. Last nite made contact in Australia on freq 27345. Good clean qso for 10d min. Talked to Calif barefoot on 10 watts. All about conditions. I go by Knucklehead and 55 eastern NC. I'm 60 years old. Love surf fishing on NC coast. Love Trucks, Racing, and my Dog, oh yea been married 40 years. Life is good.

Say would you share some good spots for surf fishing in NC. We re into SSB here also but I read the mail here most of the time. I live so close to Air Port and the approach pattern is over my house. I got to hear a station in North Dakota yesterday. I have not heard from that state ever. I stay covered up by skip during day time (sun up). We will try to make the trip at light-speed sometime.

Check my profile and you'll see a picture of me standing next to an elevation sign on the Cherohala sky way. The bike is a Vulcan 900. My bike at that time was a 1990 Yamaha Fj 1200. The fj was setup as a full blown race bike and was TOO tedious to drive in small tight corners. First gear topped out at 75 Mph and the engine was totally unhappy under 4,000 Rpm. That rental bike made me dump the FJ and buy my present bike, Yamaha XV1700 Roadstar. Love that low end grunt.

Over here we use dynamite to fish with. Just one stick and dip up the fish.

351, we call fishing with dynamite, the "all in one cast" or " red BANG bait"

Ahh. The good old days of crank telephones come to mind. A few quick turns and it "dials" em up every time
