Hello. I am going to splash out and buy a new Magnum radio, can some recommend what model to get,

I would like the one with 360 or so channels witch goes way out side the 27/27 Mhz cb band , AM FM LSB USB built in amp high power model

Is the Magnum Omega Force the one? I like the look of the s9 much better,

Can some one point me in the right direction?

Magnum has not been shipping radios this year and most dealers are out of stock.
I would go for one of these-> http://www.hyelectronics.com/Ranger-2970-DX-Mobile-Radio/productinfo/RCI-2970+N2/
or one of these if you can afford it-> http://www.hyelectronics.com/NEW-BLACK-VERSION-OF-RCI-6900-FFC4/productinfo/RCI-69FB4/
The first unit has a two pill amp built in, the 69FB4 has a four pill amp built in.
Both of these are a big step up from regular CB radios.

Don't use the other channels unless you are licensed operator.

Yes I was looking and couldn't see any for sale and I emailed a shop and they sed they don't make them anymore.

That 2nd link has a good looking radio, I will do some more research on it, yes I understand about the licensed operator, I am thinking of getting my ticket.

They are actually the same radio inside! The only real difference is the output section. The "N2" has a built in two pill amplifier that is biased in the AB manner.
The "FB4" is a four pill amp also AB biased.
Both are excellent radios in AM and SSB modes.
