As seen in pics the cord only has the following wires:




Blue
Red
Shield( bare wire )
Black
Yellow




It has no white wire... At end of cable to connect, has

Blue
Red
Shield( bare wire )
Black
Yellow

NO white wire at connector end???

That eminents from it to connector end.




What will be the connection for the TS-480 on this model?




Need to make on his both PTT switched to work...

These are the wire colors cable has to it:



Blue
Black
Red
White
Bare Non Coated Wire ( Sheild I guess )
Yellow






Want to know what colors to what pin on a kenwood TS-480 RJ45 Type Moduluar 8 pin plug

This is how it is connected up NOW:


8-pin Modular (TS-480, VHF/UHF Mobiles)


Pin 3: Ground - Blue/Common


Pin 4: PTT - Red/TX


Pin 5: Microphone Ground - Bare Wire?


Pin 6: Microphone In - White/Audio

Questions:

what is black and yellow for?


How or what do I need to do to get the base to engadge and key up? I can press it nothing but once I release it, the Rodger beep goes off???


Their is a pot viarable any one have pics of their Silver Eagel Plus base uncovered that looks like this can post too just to compare.

the black wire is recieve - you,ll only need this if your radio needs a mic plugged in to hears outta speaker radios
like 2950 2510, 5010,2600 ,this wire isnt really needed or used
the yellow wire - ive NEVER used this wire in any radio i used.
looks right i think i dont uderstand pin 3 &5 two grounds ??? what is pins 1,2,7,8
