Looking for a transformer for a Maco 200. Anyone know where I can find one or what else would work?

have you tried buying one for a different version? say such as a mega watt power supply.you could wire it up to run the amp. finding a direct replacement may be hard to find.

My radio Tech said that the cost of the Transformer would be more than what the box is worth and or I could buy a transistor amplifier for the same price as the transformer for this one. Any idea where I can find one online that could work? So far my search online has resulted in no results

you can find them on ebay. I use a 30 amp unit I bought for about 45.00 a couple years ago. here is a link to a lot of different ones. make sure you get one that will adjust up to about 13.8 amps. on the area you hook the wires up is a tuning VR to increase how many volts it will put out.
