The standard “getting back into radios” bit. Its been a while. Reinstalled my old GE 3-5819A against a Wilson 1000. Tuned out pretty good at 1 across all 40.

Hello from another new guy!

I'm mobile with a Cobra 29 LTD Classic and a Firestik II. About to put in a Stryker SR-955. Pretty new to radio in general myself, so I've got a lot to learn. I'm eager to get my new radio installed and learning how SSB skip works.
