Installation help

I have recently tried to set up a home base. I’ve got power and all components brand new, mounted dual antennas on a pole around 20 feet high. Still receiving nothing but static. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cb is a uniden pc68ltx
Double coax to dual 36” antenna on 20’ pole.

I have hooked several cb’s in my vehicles in the past. But have never tried to install a home set up.

Sounds like your using mobile antennas, did you ground them?

I am, is that a problem. When you say ground them? How so? Thank you for your time.

I was trying to figure out how to post pictures of my set up, not very tech savvy.

Run a wire from the antenna mounts too a ground rod should do the trick.
