I was wondering if they have classes in keydowns like 3z boxes, 4z boxes, 3CX3000A7,3CX6000A7, and 3CX15000A7, to really give guys running AC boxes a chance to win like they do in DC Classes instead of AC 1 Alt, AC 2Alt, and AC Sky. In DC classes we have 2 pill, 4, and 8 pill stock, and 2,4,8,12,16,24 and Sky. I would go AC if I would have a chance to win keying against other boxes built like what I would bet build, but it is unfair if I key a 4Z Box against someone running a 3CX3000A7.

back in the day they had Tube class's. 2 500x 3 500z even 4 500z those were popular. But in time it changed.
The z boxes werent showing up any more so it turned into a/c box size is not a factor. It all goes by alternators now in a/c class's
1 alt no dual stator alts allowed.
2 alt
3 alt
a/c sky

an alternator can only produce but so much power reguardless of the tube behind it. easiest way to make class's now.

Sad thing is at most breaks a/c guys dont show. atlantic city will have a few ac trucks. Richmond va will have a good amount. or they should. a/c sky guys should be there. this weekends event in louisiana should have ac sky also.
but most places there are no ac trucks.

i've seen this label before-what does "sky" represent?is that "a certain wattage and above"meaning it could be 100,000 watts running in a "sky" class or does it mean something else?i don't think i will ever belong in a sky class but because i do plan on eventually attending some of these on the East Coast,i'd like to know what i am seeing and hearing.thanks,Gravy626
