Testing a Solid State 200W amp. Temporary antenna and coax through a handful of adapters with a Bird inline.
This radio changes the channel with buttons on the mic.
Amp has SB. I have no experience with any amplifier. Amp has 3 position power level.
Low, regardless of radio channel, 80W.
Med, 115W
High, 150W.
When amp is on high, mic is keyed and never drops out.
Is this a radio problem or an amp problem? I don't know how to use the side band.
