My name is Terry I've worked in the RF communications field since the late 70's. I live in Southern Oregon. Just got back into the 11 meter band after getting a Kenwood TS-430S for nothing, the issue was it didn't work, so I rebuilt the radio replacing transistors, resistors and caps. The main issue was the PLL board, they wouldn't lock. Now I'm talking all over the country, talked to Australia last evening.
