View Full Version : 400Amp Motormaul

I blew the solenoid (http://www.bing.com/search?q=solenoid&FORM=AWRE) in my motormaul I order a new one but the one I have in my box is different for some unknown reason when I talk its draining down Battery Bank 1 and 2 but 3 and 4 stay fully charged. I will show a pic so you can see what I am talking about. The 3rd solenoid (http://www.bing.com/search?q=solenoid&FORM=AWRE) is the one I changed277278279

sound like one of the charging solinoids isnt working, which is causing the no charge situation

Hey Breeze which one is the Charging one or do I need to replace all of them because that what it is doing It drains Battery Bank 1 and 2 down fast leaving 3 and 4 fully charged.

hey I remember you told me what Solonoids to get but I have misplace that info I want to replace them with better ones. I think they were from Grainger.

charger sells 200 amp versions that are cheaper also.

hey breeze tell how crazy this is I back the motormaul down to 12volts and it seems to work fine I guess it doesnt like 14volts

when i turn my maul off i still have a 8 volt output to the amp. can someone help me with this issue?

with the newer ones that charge even when off, this is normal operation

you lowered the volts, which lowered the demand, the crappy contacts are still there, you did nothing but hide the problem

it is one of the older 400 maul. x-force
