The Skythumper ST-65DX looks almost like the Turner RK-56 (Road King). Sold through Sparkys CB Shack and Custom CB Radios. It is a fairly OK microphone on AM, but on SSB it performs very well. It is a noise cancelling type but it throws out the modulation. The cord is light and flexable. Some may not care for the type of external PPT button and located to the right. The internal PTT is almost like the ones in the Astatic 636L models. There are a good number of loyal owners. As with any microphone the PTT will wear out in time. Wired up the ST-65DX to my Cobra 2000 GTL and used it strickly on SSB. It drove the radio well and folks sent flowers my way, Bulldog.

I have one of these and it works pretty well. I keep it as a backup for my S9. Its a little tintier than the stock magnum mic, but works well with that rig.
