Just always thought he made a better captain. Could be slightly biased towards Patrick Stewart as an actor and person as well.

He is a fantastic actor for sure. I've been pondering this question for a few weeks now. I've always thought Kirk was superior but the more I watch the Next Gen. the more I am starting to like Picard
