after the first one I just had to build another. Finally found a purpose for all these extra transformers I have. This one is framed up with 2x2's and 3/4 inch plywood. It got two 50 amp bridge rectifiers wired in parallel on a heat sink and about 3000 uf worth of filter capacitors. Used 8 gauge wire for the pos and neg leads. Put a old analog volt meter on the front. Still dont know the amperage of this transformer but its running a 4 pill fatboy with no fall back what so ever. Floats at 17.5 volts and falls to 15.5 with the 4 pill load. This one also got a 4 inch fan for shits and grins. Not done with the housing its still a work in progress but these are fun and inexpensive to build if you have the transformer already.
