Don't make this radio anymore. Magnum cancelled because they wanted to put the SMT technology and owner of Magnum said, " I will pass " think that is why they made Raptor I think
PS - Nice radio wish I had the extra money to get, this radio is going to go high in value very shortly.

You said you have 3 of these. Do you have one that looks stock or are they all done up with knobs and faceplates?

No longer in production, that model. So with supply and demand can ask that amount if in mint shape, but personally would NOT buy because they discontinued for problems with them as per Saw Lewis. They just came with the new and improved version Magnum S-9175 and a New Raptor series. I would personally go with those believe in the $400 range if looking for a high powered stand alone radio and don't want to start with jumpers and amps. Still believe lower powered radio's paired to amp with jumpers will get you more power and last longer, but depends what your looking to set-up.

Lots of places still have new ones. I'm leaning toward the stryker 955 and a texas star 500. I probably wont end up getting an amp though. Not this year anyway.

Do some research my friend has the first production of the Stryker 955 and he ran into alot of problems and prefers the Ranger 2950DX to it much more. Also if using a Texas Star 500, the Ranger 2950DX with 30-40 watts would sound alot better. The stryker is to high powered a radio to really drive the Texas Star, it could if you dialed down the RF Power all the way, but a waste of money with Stryker 955 vs the Ranger 2950DX. Read the reviews of both and you will see the 2950's have one of the best histories of radio's on SSB and AM for being stable and great audio.
