These custom Astatic D104 microphone flags are unique and a good way to give your station identity. Ordered and received all in less than a week. Joe/AD4W in South Carolina makes these. You can have up to 15 characters. They are engraved on a wood grain style firm plastic. The oval measures 1/16" thick, 5-3/4" wide and 4-1/2" high. Only comes with the wood grain pattern and when engraved through the white layer of plastic appears. These really stand out. The package arrived in a small box for best protection, packed & wrapped well. You removed the 4 screws holding the back plate to the microphone head. Either remove the microphone head or tilt the microphone down on a soft towel or blanket. Align the metal plate and microphone flag so all holes line up. Finger start the screws so there is no cross threading. No need to tighten up, just slightly snug. The screw pattern were right on, 100%. At the cost of $29.95 the shipping is free, which is a $5.00+ value. These are unique and a great way to show off who you are as a CBer or ham radio operator, Bulldog 777

Note - If you purchased a Redman microphone dust cover for your D104 it won't fit completely with a microphone flag installed.

That looks real nice there Bulldog. That would make a great gift for D104 users. I alreaddy have a friend in mind that one of those would be perfect for.
