Conversation Between Boozer and T-bone

Boozer... I have a question about the 2995 DX CF please. Someone posted there was a toggle switch on the back of there radio When you said its not necessary to cut the internal amp off to get to 2 watts was this in reference to don't turn off the internal amp it still will dead key 2 watts to drive an amplifier? I'm about to purchase a 2995 dx cf and want to attach a XForce 2X12. I need 2 watts out, 40 watts maximum. I have been told this is not possible. Any suggestions as what radio to use into a 2X12 low drive XForce with a 2 watt dead key and a swing to 40 maximum watts? Thank you
