I and I'm sure others want to hear some of everyone's favorite cb gear. Radios, antennas, mics, coax let's hear about it

Well I for one love my RF Limited 2018 Turbo Mic. It was the perfect match for my Cobra 29 LX. The new Stryker 955 I'm getting today is supposed to have a Mic that sounds real good, and the radio has all the stuff the 2018 has. I guess I will use it for my base Mic , when I convert my 29 for base use.

Some say it feels like a 2x4 board in your hand, but I love it.

I've heard good things about the 2018 mic but I have no need for one since I've got echo, talk back, and rogerbeep. I do need a new mic that doesn't cause so much feedback. Keep us posted on the stryker!

My favorite microphone is a audio technica 3060 TUBE MICROPHONE. It produces a smooth not over hyped tube sound. My favorite voice processor is a HHB RADIUS 40. The RADIUS 40 is a tube vocal processor. 3 Tube sections ( 1 ) tube microphone preamp ( 2 ) tube eq ( 3 ) tube compressor . All Russian tubes were replaced with European 60s vintage Mullards The unit was rf proofed. The two units deliver a smooth vintage tube sound

My President HR2510 has the original chip-switch in it and though I have collected some nice Cobra's the President is my favorite. I have put Astatic power mics on it; but folks like the sound of the stock mic. I had friends who use to go between channels for uninterrupted talks.

That's a tough one. I have so many its like trying to decide wich kid is your favorite. But there are a few I really don't like too much. Like the cobra 19 series. The old 19s like the XS are great but the plastic ones not so much. Especialy the ones with push buttons for changing the ch. A lot of fairly new and more than one "new" 19 such as the dx ultra IV have come in the shop because they jump frequency and or come out of lock.
