    I have one of those and have been told by a person who knows me said it sounded "Just like I was standing right next to him." SSB/FM or AM quality audio begins at the microphone, and carries through the radio. A great mike on a POS radio is a lost cause, but it will be better than a stock mic. Studio Quality sound is what you get with the D-104.
