Found an old tube type radio

Found an old tube type valve radio the other day, it has 4 channels and a knob to tune them in better, it also has a switch for it to work as a normal radio for broadcast music etc, also it had a built in antenna matching tuner,

It is quit rusty but all the winging looked ok so I plugged it in and it works, must have a dry joint somewhere as it needs a bump every now and then. it has huge crystals, about half the size of a matchbox.

it has an odd antenna connection on the back, I wired it to my vertical dipole and its roaring away with skip but the mic is shot, I might hunt around for a new insert for it. I will post a photo soon, the thing is an LOL.
