Texas star dx 250 hdv no output

Bought a used Texas star 250 hdv for $50. Amp powers on, all three buttons light up, pre amp works but I'm not getting any power output, any suggestions what to look at or for? All help is greatly appreciated!

If you only paid 50 for it, find a good amp tech, there are a few in NJ, and have it fixed. Look at what a new 250hdv goes for now days. They aren't Cheap and you don't have much in it. It could be the keying circuit, also check the resistors next to the transistors to make sure they aren't burnt, if they are, your transistors may be bad. But without the proper test gear and a real way to test the transistors out of the amp, Sending it off would most likely be cheaper in the end and it will come back working right. JMO, have a good one and god bless.

I fully agree with 222. Nice to hear from you again. If anyone knows of a good tech in N.J. Please let me know. I don't want to make this issue worse by fiddling with the unknown. ( to me anyway). Thanks 222.
