    Mr Coily Punisher

Anyone have any experiance with the Punisher ?. My app is dual hots 78in, surburban .. wondering how broadbanded they might be?. How they tuned?..
First will be a smaller amp -with the goal being a 24 pill.

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks

I own one, I loaned it to rubber duck to try out . It is an awesome antenna and is only 5' tall but it weighs a ton. Its built extremely well and ya Gotta have really strong backing plates! It likes good ground plane and is a great dx'ing antenna. I would imagine it to be even more awesome in a 2 hot setup. I'm supposed to get it back from duck so I can put it on the lil green maul. I had it on my pickup as my daily and she did great. Stinger/188 in jersey city has one too and he loves his as well.

I'd rather have a set of "NOIZY'S". Hint hint.

FWIU they are heavy . i wouldn't want a closed loop on top of a mobile . if i needed something 5 ft a dual coil 10k would be my choice . i have one , but i just run the longer coil , i love the modular design and sturdy construction .

I have a 1/4 in aluminum plates 6x8-front and 8x8 in rear.. pretty sure most antennas can go up on the surburban roof with these plates..no?

As for the 10k, it is quite flimsy compared to a punisher. I cant speak for performance cause I really never had one to beat on, but I would probably pick the coily. I wanted to try a 10k on the car only because it's super light, but I have 3 plates in there now. I could mount a street light on the roof now if I wanted. Lol

Hey Joe!!..whats good?...Wobble? meaning?... plate is solid. I rode around with the fatgirl R4 on..hit a few things just getting used to the new height. The puck never moves..i took the stinger and bent it far and let it go to see what would happen.. nothing.

Was referring to puck/mount/roof wobble. If you pull the stinger back and she dont move you should be fine.
