    New Guy

    My name is Kirt, growing up my Grandfather had a Golden Eagle Mark IV, I recently found it in my dad,s attic and am in need of info for getting it up and running, I will be posting questions as I work my way through the site. I live in Colorado Springs Co. Thanks in advance for all the help!

    Welcome KT. Those radios rare in good condition as far as I know. My grandfather ran one as well with a gizmotchi 4 element beam antenna. If you are new to the cb world then you basically need to get you a base antenna and coax to hook to your radio. DO NOT OPERATE WITHOUT AN ANTENNA AND COAX.

    Caveman, again I'm new to cb I have two radios one cb one ham. I have 81 feet of 1and 1/4 alum tubing I want to make a dir. antenna out of but I have no idea how to, may be you could direct me to someone who could help me.

    Thanks my friend, I'm trying to find a store out here in the middle of no were Arizona to find the equipment I need. Hopefully I'll be up ad running by next week some time.
