    Viper antenna on 2017 cascadia

Hi, I'm brand new to this site, thanks in advance for any advise.
I have installed the Wilson mirror mounts on both sides of my new cascadia
and mounted 2 viper antennas on them. My concern is that they are too heavy
and with road vibration will break the perches off. I've never used this kind of setup
and could use an expert opinion on them.

If the antennas are heavy then yes it's possible to inflict damage to the vehicle or antennas. A couple of Wilson or Sirio 5000 trucker center loaded antennas would probably work better. Getting the coil of the antenna or the coil over the roof of the truck or at the roof line will help a bunch. The trucker type center loaded antennas will have a shorter top whip, but the over all length should be the same.
Also if you are worried about the antennas being too heavy, try a better mount as well. Here is an HD mirror mount made for heavy antennas. Might look into a set of these as well.
    Hope this helps.
