    puck mount on a toyota sienna minivan ???

    it's a 2001 , has the drop down video screen thingy between the front and middle seats and i was hoping that would be a easy access point to install the puck ... anyone know if it is befor i take it out ? or any tips to make it easier ?

    I've got a 2001 Tacoma...but never had the headliner down.

    I would say no there isn't much room above the TV. There is all the wiring and the top portion of the TV where it either counter sinks into or closes flat against. If the headliner stays dropped down then behind the TV it might work. You might be better off looking for a light more toward the back of the van for a place to drop the puck in. Might make it a little directional, but most likely not too bad unless it's at the very back end of the roof.
    Not sure how much crap you'll have to remove either getting to the top of the TV area. Or stuff that will need to be moved as to not drill or cut anything.
    I have seen a couple tv installs into vehicles like Suburbans, and there isn't much room above the tv once everything that goes along with it is installed as well.

    it has the stock video screen that came with it . i was hoping i could put the mount in a few inches rearward of the screen . i don't use the TV/screen but i don't want to hurt it either ...... guess i'll just have to drop it down and see whats there ..
