Hello Everybody From Woodchopper! I'm glad to become a member

    Hello everybody!
My name is Mike and I have been in a CB radio enthusiast since I was 18. My father worked for Lafayette for many years as an audio technician until they closed their doors. My first radio was a (now I show my age) Robin 23B and I had a moonraker 6 in the center of my home town. I was the landmark people gave directions by.

I have been off the scene for many years but I still had some of my ole equipment so I decided to set it back up and show my children what dad used to do in his free time when we didn't have cell phones and gaming consoler. All we had was records and CB's. Surprisingly, they embraced the hobby and now they both have radios in their vehicles. My dad's handle was woodchopper and I was JR but now that he passed, I assumed his name and my son has JR.

I look forward to talking the old times and meeting new people.

    Mike
