    Mic repair

    I do the best I can fixing microphones. Customer gives me a static 626l and it acts like the switch is dirty so I wash it out with contact cleaner let it dry carefully and then try it out and it works fine but then I get it back a few days later and it's still acting the same way it's not really worth putting a switch in an Astatic because you can buy a new microphone for $26.
    I use CRC electronic cleaner is that okay and what do you think I should use to lube it I thought about dielectric compound or a little Teflon spray lubricant.

    check out Deoxit contact cleaner and lubes .

    i second that. or sometimes the contact has resdue on it you use a very thin sand paper aand clean it or you checked the circuit board for defective component or dry solder ok
