    Varmint mobile linear

I have a varmint XL110 mobile linear and it has the plate and load on the front but it also has an adjustment on the bottom thats not marked, whatdoes that one do and how do i properly tune it? Its missing the meter so i was wondering if someone had any info on putting a new meter in it

I'd tune all 3 for max output when driving it with voice on SSB. Use a field strength meter that you can get from ebay cheap. uses a short plug-in antenna and reads actual RF output, but it's only relative- so tune for peak, it's not a wattmeter just a relative tuning meter.
When you get it close to max then turn your drive down to where it starts to drop off and tune carefully for max again.
    Wash, dry, repeat.
