    Wattmeter question

    I have a bird 43 wattmeter why is the neddle not move to the 0 on it?

    You need to adjust it. Should be a screw on the outside of the meter right where the needle is mounted, all you have to do is turn it counter clockwise till the needle lines up with 0.

    Did that but didn’t move needle at all

    no big thing,it's just trying to get a head start,what do you measure that low ??

    I replaceed the meter now it works. How do I chose a element for my radio?

    For CB band the 25-60mhz or the 2-30mhz ones would work well. And power rating is dependant on what you plan to run through it. The 25w or 100w one would work well for your radio. If you plan on running power then look into a higher power one. There are many types as far as frequency range and power are concern. Just try to get real bird slugs and not the knock offs. That is JMO.

    I have a general hp40 radio that is above 100+. I do have a 1000w 2-30mhz slug
