Can I switch antennas and expect them to remain properly tuned

I have to park in a low ceiling parking garage during the week, so I'm planning a 36" firefly on a spring for during the week. But I'd like to use a longer antenna like a 5' firestik when I'm away from the garage. If I use something like a Firestik quick disconnect on both antennas, is it reasonable to think that they will remain properly tuned if I swap back and forth between them?

all should stay the same. I do this myself and never had one to change. after you set an antenna it stays the same as long as you do not change the mount or its location.

Yep, what sonoma said...once tuned, as long as you don't change mounting locations or coax, antenna's will remain tuned....The liquid SWR won't leak-out....

Thanks guys. This has been the plan. Hope it works out.

And thanks for the tip on the liquid SWR. I know not to let the smoke out of my radio, but I won't worry about the liquid SWR.
