I'm so confused lolol. I figured it was a specific frequency that was considered SSB. I always seen it called upper and lower so... Just wish I understood it better... Ugh.

So I think I may have figured it out...
Okay so what do you think is more useful? A McKinley that is limited to AM but has SSB or a Ronald that has AM and FM but no SSB?

I can only think of 2 or 3 channels. 1-19-33
I’ve got a prz Grant and a General Lee that I cant make up my mind on which one I wanna put in my 18 Ram.
And of course antenna location is my biggest question/problem

I ended up sending back the Ronald and got an AT-6666. Far better radio.

Yeah I ain't mad at it at all. Just worried about the final issues some people have. But I think I'm handy enough to swap em if push come to shove.

SSB is just another type of modulation as is AM, FM, CW.

Now I just gotta find a good cb shop in N.Tx. That can clean and do a good checkup on my general lee and buy a new mic.
