Question No TX/RX Lafayette Telsat SSB-100

So i picked up this when i bought a collection off a local guy a few months back and i am just now getting to it. I powered her up and things kinda come to life i.e lights a little bit of sound and what not , but when i key the mic the on air light flicks on but there is nothing beyond that the built in mod and swr meters do nothing and my external meters show nothing. i keep a HT to test tx/rx and the ssb-100 was not putting out jack and when i key the HT all i get is static on the telsat nothing else. i am kinda lost here i am still learning and to make it even better i can not find any schematic for this radio . any help or advice would be great thanks 73's

*UPDATE* Well after a bit of tinkering around and a few beers i wound that the 23.480mhz crystal is bad. not all i need to do is adjust the MOD. and the PWR. and she will be good!

The SSB-100 was a great unit, a real combination with the SSB-25 and SSB-50 base and mobile units.
