    grounding

I have my Galaxy radio sitting on an alluminum slipseater on the floor of my Jeep behind the passengers seat. I ran both power and ground to the battery. Should I run the ground to a chasis part or would the negative on the battery be good. Thanks

would be better to have it grounded to the frame, or lots of guys ground to seat belt bolts...longer runs of wire can pick up unwanted noise
