One more thing....Once you get channel 1 and 40 reading almost the same....If you drive down the road a bit, then re-check...you might find the reading to be off again!
This is due to the changing surroundings...Even the ground or pavement can cause the SWR to read different...
Which is why I said "If it were me...your close enough!"
