    I saw the video from a very respected Ham guru on YouTube. He said the same thing and went into detail about the effects of the height off the ground has on the horizontal dipole and the aim of the signal for farthest distance.

    That is good stuff. I bought 3 jumpers of that stuff 18" long, but it is a little stiff to work with!
