    Power Supply?

Will be running a Uniden 980SSB and RM KL-203 amp - what's a good reasonably priced pwr supply?
Maybe Pyramid 30 amp or MegaWatt 36 - any suggestions would help - Thanks

I have heard good things about the Megawatt. They are cheap enough and I would think more than enough power for both the 980 and the 203. Amp draw of the 203 is 10 to 15 amps and the radio is all but nothing.

Like the man said, it's a old thread but might help someone. This is the one I just got for my KL-503 amp and works well and quite. Leave room for expansion because I didn't buy one large enough the first time. This is as big as I'm going !

Iota is another good brand that makes (or sells) the same general type that whiteastro posted. Last one I picked up was a 45 amp new in the box that had written on it "turns on, but fan non operational". Got it for around 45.00 free shipping. Turns out the fan guard was bent in just enough to stop the fan from turning. Score!
