Astatic 575M-6 wiring for Uniden Bearcat 980SSB

Can anyone help me with the wiring diagram for an Astatic 575M-6 to a Uniden Bearcat 980 SSB?? I know the Uniden plug is:

    1 Yellow -audio hot
    2 Black - RX
    3 Red - TX
    4 N/C
    5 Shield
6 7.8 DC phantom power mic power

I also have the Astatic schematic, but I do not know how to read them. I would like to use the phantom power to power the power mic instead of battery use. Can anyone help with this set-up?

Do I need to do anything different with the existing battery connection? (like removing it?)
Do I need to run a separate ground for the phantom power #6 pin on the 980?

Here's a schematic diagram from the Astatic microphone:

    Thanks!!!

OK...anyone for the wiring without the phantom power? I just need the straight wiring hookup.
    1 WHITE
    2 BLK
    3 RED
    4 N/C
    5 BLUE & Shield
    6 N/C

This set-up works with great modulation, but the TALKBACK is activated on the 980. Anyone??

I am no help to you on the wiring but Uniden makes a cable that converts 6 pin to a 4 pin for use with standard mics.

Why don't you just buy a solid adapter to plug into your mic. port to covert it to 4 pin. I bought one for my 980 but don't remember the number. They are out there in the wild !

Check this one out it might work better than the one from ebay. Like I say I can't remember the adapter # because it's been awhile but the question and answers say it will work with the 980. https://www.amazon.com/WORKMAN-C4PDF.../dp/B00SFYKHV0
