    Question Lowered DK Issue

All stock cobra 29LTD Classic, was working perfectly until i did the cap and resistor mod to lower dk. Before the mod modulation was perfect on the scope, after the mod modulation it is horrible, vr4 doesnt do anything now, looks like 200%modulation shaped like a knife blade. What am i missing? Radio was tuned and aligned before the mod, checked everything again and only the modulation is crap now.

Too often I've seen these go wrong.Various reasons but the cure is to go back where you started and go over everything you did and check it twice. You'll find the mistake. Most often a cold solder joint, broken trace or short between traces.

Its a newer radio not all hacked up, no traces cut/broken/snipped and no other mods, soldering is spot on. Makes no sense the modulation is a mess now, nothing else was touched. Can you enlighten me on how you go about doing it?

The only other option would be that one of the components installed is bad, most often a capacitor.
