the alternator for A/C is it setup as a single phase or is it also 3 phase

all altenators are 3 phase a/c. the power becomes one power line after rectification.

for a/c the alt poweres a 3 phase transformer then gets rectified to dc.

watts vrs dollars the ac setups are actually cheaper but you cant really start off small with those
