Well i scrapped the small case alt idea. I did alot of listening to a bunch of heavy hitters.. they all say go "leeces" better in the long run..almost all said the same thing.
Figure i shouldnt try to reinvent the wheel.
Thanks

look into the AD-244 alt. they have a fan in the front and one in the rear.url=http://www.alternatorparts.com/ad_alternator_order_page.htm
they also have the kit to make a dual rectifier. or just run the the rectifier on the outside.
i took the built in voltage regulator out. and been using an outside ford adjustable doing pretty good.
worth looking at
Hi Willy.. well i figure for my setup i need 3 ad 244's plus my stock alt The amperage i need they will be 300 or more a pc. Also the bracket to mount them is about 200 more then a leece setup with more modifycations needed to fit them. Also need to run more wire..which 2/0 these days isnt cheap.
The ad244 from what ive learned is a great alt but as you can see above.. its more practical for my app to go with 2 leece 320's . I will be using a ad244 for my stock alt tho.
Thanks for the info.. appreciate it!
