Bulldog's Black Diamond Galaxy DX 959HP-2290 Edition Mobile Station!

My black diamond plated covers came in and right angle 4 pin microphone plug. Thanks Tom for the quality products and very quick service. As usual everything arrived in a well packed box. Previously had the chrome diamond plated covers and love them too. I got one of the very first Galaxy DX 959HP-2290 Edition CB Radio customized mainly focusing on the RF section. The black diamond plated covers really sets this radio off! Very sharp looking! Since this covers can fit many radios sometimes you may need to add some spacers. Besides that it is an easy install. The covers are thicker than the thinner OEM! Here is my mobile station, Bulldog 777 in central Maine.

Motorola Roadster 2 is a Bluetooth device so I can talk on the phone, listen to my music and it can broadcast my music to the radio in the truck.

How much does on of those cost? That sounds like something I'll look into getting sometime down the road.

A long time ago I bought a universal mounting kit from Radio Shack. Boy that package had all sorts of different L brackets. Picked the brackets that would work, bent them so when the radio was in this position it would be level. I time I customized an insert that would slide over the brackets which out finish it out give it a good look. I made that out of cardboard, tape, hot melt glue and gray towel. Got the stars in the sewing section. The brackets are the main support for the radio. Below are some older pictures. This radio is going on three years old.

I like that. If I was going to do a top dash install that's the way I would do it. Nice and clean
