Breaka Breaka! New to this site but old to everything else.

I was told there was another CB site that I needed to check out so here I am. I have been involved in electronics since I was 9 years old. I fixed my first radio when I was nine, an old Atwater Kent TRF. Best sounding AM radio I have ever heard. For those of you who are not old enough to remember Atwater Kent radios were the Bently's of the home radio market. The TRF radios did not use a mixer stage and essentially rebroadcast what it received. Almost like a repeater in a manner of speaking.
I have always made my living in the electronics field in one form or another. In one company I performed two positions at the same time. Quality Control engineer and purchasing agent for a international manufacturer of air craft electronics and parts.
I'll help where ever I can and keep my mouth shut if I can't.

Roger that Caveman! The wife and I ride all over that area on motorcycle. We like riding around Patoka Lake and go to the Casino there at French Lick. I'm in Looeyvil'. We could probably talk on radio on quiet nights. I'm still putting my base station together right now. I'm getting a 3 element yagi going to the flat side so I can put my 3 element for 2 meter right below it.

Your mobile would have to have really really BIG ears.
