I try my best with one antenna. the rest of that little bitchy click aint gonna like me when I switch out to a full wave ride around antenna system using less watts what they use. lol lol lol I love it .
I'm on a new kick with radio. I'm gonna remove the amps in the mobile and run with just a kicker and redesign my antenna system. I wanna see what can be done with 100w, a cobra 29, and a kick ass antenna system on ch11. All without drilling a hole in the roof. Any ideas?

in a low power system yessssssss cool . but in a high power system you have to drill a hole with a good strong mount. the most important about a magnet mount or a antenna without a permanent ground make sure the amplifier and radio are grounding to the frame , the results are breathtaking . and properly tuck away the coax so the tailgate or door does not crush it , very very important . get very strong magnets also . there is a way to have just a coax ground and mount the antenna to your roof racks . but the antenna has to be a certain height so a charge does not get created after keying up with power. there are endless possibilities if you want to make it happen. it does help to have a MFJ or some kind of digital SRW Analizer that shows OHMS and Reflect also. with 2 people its much faster to .
I have the tri mag mount already. Should I run another ground aside from the power ground for the radio? The power ground is already grounded to the frame. I'm not too big up on low power systems but I want to experiment.

that's ok yes. some shorter antenna's will require more ground for that perfect tune along with getting the ohms somewhere close to 50 ohms give or take 10 % lower would be ok to . u lust have a cadaliac or something , lol
Nah. Just don't wanna drill a hole in this car. Didn't have a problem with the old car having a hole. But until I'm positive this car isn't getting traded in for a new one I don't wanna drill yet.
