SSB & Setting Dead Key for amp....

Ok....so I'm alittle confused but I'm sure someone has an answer for me. When dead key'd my 2000 GTL
shows less than a watt on a dosey meter. If I decied to eventually add KL 203p and only use it on SSB do I
need to have my dead key adjusted? Meter shows about a 12 watt swing. Again SSB only. No AM.

    Thanks in advance.

The KL amp you are talking about is a low drive amp on AM / SSB. On AM 1 watt - 5 watt dead key. ( SSB 1 watt - 20 watt PEP / Modulated power ) like Booty Monster stated below.

I cut my teeth skip shooting AM with one he modified with a 2879 I still have and will put back in service with SSB, until he modifies my 2 pill for SSB, its currently only AM.

PM Tallman and tell him Silverado 996 sent you, he listed in my friends on my profile. He will answer any question you have about those. He was basically RM's repair go to guy here in the states.

I hope this helps... Good luck!
