    Hello from the Bay Area!

Well, thread said to introduce yerself, so Howdy, y'all.

I'm Ray, live in the Bay area, work as an electronics technician.

I hold an Amateur Extra HAM ticket, work with our local A.R.E.S. chapter for disaster coordination.

I'll be poking around the forum, since I'll be adding a CB radio to my truck. It currently is without a mobile HAM install, it uses my Yaesu FT-60R with a SMA to FME adapter to get to the roof-mounted antenna.

My brother gave me a tuned Cobra 19DX III and some Vanco antennas but no coax, mount, etc. He used them hauling dirt/asphalt/gravel and said the radio is a keeper.

Anyway, enough for now, hope to be around for a while.

    73's,

    Ray
