    Western Heat wave

Captain Caveman, that's why it is called Shake "N" Bake. First the heat and then the earth quakes.

It might be the type of wax you are using on the truck too!

This is the second day without my DX949. My 949 is by far way more superior than my stock Cobra 29LXLE. Whats funny is I really liked my 29 until I got my Galaxy. Hey Tallman feel like doing the Shocky mod on my 29 and bumpin' the modulation up a tad.. lol!

BTW... Tallman is installing a echo**** echo***echo**echo* board in my 949... Man, my radio is gonna rip!

Your not running your monkey made or FireStik no more? What about that antenna you won from DSR? Do you still have it? What brand was it?

    996. CRANK THE PLUCKER ! . How do I crank down a grant 2 for a low drive amp( surgery ? ) , I have not had a look to see if Texas Star 667v is low drive, but don't want to blow it out of stupidity !

996 I dig that mount. Now I know where my loose screws went. The rf variable on my 959 will drop to just over 2 and go up to 6. Is there that much difference in the 949 & 959? Mine has the frq. counter and the slide switches are in a diferent place. Where your sws. are is where my frq counter is. And oh yeah I need to borrow 10 gallons of RF premium.

Halfwatt- the only differences between the 949 and 959 is the freq counter.
