What's inside? Transistor types?

Pics of the inside would say a bunch! Not to rag on the amp, to let you know what and possibly who made it. I think you posted this on another forum as well. What was the verdict? Who's it made by??
Good looking little amp. 2 Motorola MRF455's. Should do 150-200 watts with those transistors. Keep the input down to about stock levels and it will work well. 1-2 watts max dead key and 8-10 watts pep max. 12 watts SSB is just fine. Should make for a clean signal. Nice little amp if you don't over drive it. Might be made by Palomar or someone similar. I'm sure one of the amp guys will know who it's made by. Anyway have fun with it.

That's the first one I have ever seen like that. It looks like it could be a base/mobile design. That huge torrid must be the AC transformer for the power supply when it is being used as a base amp. If you post more detailed pictures I could verify if that is the case.

It is a base amp Tallman. I beleive he posted that on another forum anyhow. Looks to be a decent amp. I think he said it was a plug in the wall amp. I could be wrong though. Hope all is well. And good day to you sir. Tell the wife I said hello please!! Maybe talk soon. At any rate. Have a great one.
I got it off an ole guy in New York for 50 bucks...This guy had lots of older cb equipment..It works pretty good, sometimes the relay get's stuck on key downs, but that when it's on Med or High...Thanks
Might need a new relay. Keep the drive levels down and it will work well for you!!
For $50 bucks if it works, it was worth it for sure!! You can get a new relay, but those transistors might be a bit harder to find!!
