Im not she sharpest tool on the shed but i think i can run it if i jump the fuse from 20 to 25. Thanks so much
Not sure what you mean about jumping a fuse. What you don't want to do Is put a larger fuse In the circuit than what Is called for. Fire could occur. Put a 15 amp fuse In the In-line holder of the amp, and run that to a 20 amp fused circuit. If the radio draws to much It will blow the 15 amp, and not the 20 amp fuse In the fuse box. I would take a voltmeter and go behind the fuse box and poke around for a large red wire that Is 12 volts DC, and tap Into that. Use an Inline fuse that comes with your radio, and you should be good to go.
Ground the black wire from your radio to a ground close to your radio, like a seat belt bolt, or a ground block that may already be in your truck somewhere near the fuse box. You will see a few black wires all connected to the same post. Put it there.
