Hey did you ever get the display fixed on your 980 ?

No I haven't yet. My plan is to send it in to Uniden and they said they would fix it for 55 bucks. I will eventually and use it as a base station. I bought my McKinley and use that in my truck. Have you been on the air much lately?

No haven't did much on the air because something changed since I raised my antenna and waiting until good weather to dig into it. I don't even get much local traffic either. How's that McKinley working for you. I'm most interested in the receive part in this lousy valley if I could get it modded to my needs and that would be the end of my investments in radio.
