Cobra XL-250

If you can find a cobra XL-250 (AC Powered) Lenair Amplifier what would be the max price you would pay for one ? From doing a google search the price range I have seen so far is between $75.00 and $100.00 , this guy selling one here locally thinks there worth $300 to $400 bucks. I say no way. I just want to ask some of the experts out there.
